The Jungalow

When Blue House Properties began their renovation, this urban bungalow was buried in overgrown vegetation. After digging out from under the greenery, some surprising animal print wallpaper was uncovered inside and the project became lovingly known as the Jungle House. A mix of urban boho and jungalow style with respect for the 1960's vintage vibe felt right for this home, as the owners welcomed pops of color and unexpected design elements. We went with neutral white walls and kept the original dark hardwood floors. Adding jewel tones combined with new and vintage design elements and furnishings really brought this unique style combination to life throughout the home.
